High flow nasal cannula in adults with acute respiratory failure

This ERS Congress 2021 guidelines session provides evidence on the application of high flow nasal cannula (HFNC) in adults with acute respiratory failure in different clinical scenarios, concerning a critical and patient centred outcomes (ie. mortality, intubation, lung gas exchange, comfort, dyspnea).
