Transportation Cards
A transportation card costs €18,50 until July 14, 2023 for five full days of unlimited travel within the city. This special price will only be available until July 14, 2023. If purchased later, please note that transportation cards will be available for purchase onsite at the hotel’s desk, at a standard price.
Kindly note, only credit card payments will be accepted.
The ticket is non refundable and you may collect it at the Congress venue.

Book your transportation card
The ticket is valid on:
- All underground and surface lines
- All stops on the M1, M3, M4 and M5 lines
- On the M2 line, the ticket is valid only until Cascina Burrona station. Beyond this station, there will be a supplement to be paid
- On the M2 line, the ticket is valid up to Assago Forum, Piazza Abbiategrasso and Cologno Nord
- On Trenord railway lines, including the S line (those that cross the railway link)
Travelling to Allianz MiCo
The Allianz MiCo Congress Center has excellent connections to Milan city centre and to the airports via ground transportation. The main subway station next to the venue is Portello, located four minutes walking distance from the venue.
How to reach the venue via public transport and taxi:
By Air
Milan Malpensa Airport
- Trains to MiCo from Malpensa Airport Terminal 1 and Terminal 2
- The nearest railway station to MiCo venue is Milano Domodossola, a 10-minute walk from MiCo along City Life park; or by metro from Milano Domodossola to Portello station on the M5 Metro line.
Malpensa Express trains that connect Malpensa international airport to Milano Cadorna station will stop at Milano Domodossola station (in 32 minutes), exclusively for ERS delegates, only during the event. - It is possible to buy single or return Malpensa Express tickets online here or at Malpensa Express Ticket Offices in the airport. It is also possible to buy Malpensa airport Fast Track tickets. For any other information please see the Malpensa Express website.
- By public transport: From Airport Terminal T1, take the bus Autostradale 143 at stops 1, 2, and 3 located in front of Door 4, towards Milan. It will reach Milan Piazzale Lorenzo Lotto (non-stop). From there, the Congress venue is located 13 minutes away, walking distance.
Journey Time: 50 minutes approximately
Cost: up to €10.00. - By taxi: The taxi ride from Milan Malpensa airport should take around 45 minutes depending on traffic and will cost up to €104.00. Please be advised that in Milan, the suitcase may have an extra charge, as well as the airport and/or night supplements. Taxis are available at the airport; simply follow the signs to the taxi stops.
Milan Linate Airport
- By public transport: From the Airport Terminal, take the Blue metro line towards San Babila. From there, change the line and take the Red line towards Rho Fiera Milano and stop at Lotto. Then, walk 13 minutes to reach the venue. Alternatively, from Lotto subway station, take the Lilac line toward Bignami and stop at Portello.
From there, the Congress venue is located four minutes away, walking distance.
Journey Time: approximately 30 minutes total
Cost: up to €2.20 - By public transport: From the Airport Terminal, take the bus 73 towards Duomo M1 M3 and stop at L.go Augusto (16 stops). From there, walk five minutes to reach the Metro stop San Babila. Take the red line towards Rho Fieramilano and stop at Amendola. The Congress venue is located less than 10 minutes away, walking distance.
Journey Time: approximately 45 minutes total
Cost: up to €2.20 - By taxi: The taxi ride from Milan Linate airport should take around 30 minutes depending on traffic and will cost approximately €65. Please be advised that in Milan, the suitcase may have an extra charge, as well as the airport and/or night supplements. Taxis are available at the airport; simply follow the signs to the taxi stops.
By Train
Milano Centrale
- By public transport: From Milano Centrale, take the M2 (Green) metro line towards Assago Milanofiori Forum and stop at Garibaldi FS (two stops). From there, change to the M5 (Lilac) metro line towards San Siro Stadio and exit at Portello (six stops). The Congress venue is located two minutes away, walking distance. The journey will take up to 20 minutes and costs €2.20.
Journey Time: approximately 45 minutes total
Cost: up to €2.20 - By taxi: The taxi ride from Milano Centrale should take around 20 minutes depending on traffic and will cost approximately €25.00. Please be advised that in Milan, the suitcase may have an extra charge, as well as the night supplements. Taxis are available at the station; simply follow the signs to the taxi stops.
Trains to Milan city centre from MiCo
Any train that stops at Milano Domodossola goes to Milano Cadorna railway station (in five minutes), the historical centre of Milan.

The discounted tickets are for journeys to be made between 7th and 14th September 2023. Outward tickets must have the city of Milan as destination, for journeys to be made between 7th and 13th September 2023, return tickets must have origin the city of Milan, for journeys to be made between 9th and 14th September 2023.
