Abstracts and Bursaries

The ERS Lung Science Conference organisers encourage presentations of any novel experimental lung research and intentionally provide a forum to allow interactions between different areas. Therefore submission of abstracts describing original research into all areas of respiratory medicine including those related to the main themes of the conference is encouraged.

The online abstract submission for the Lung Science Conference 2013 will start in August 2012.                    (deadline: November 09, 2012)

Bursaries covering registration and contribution towards other costs are available for up to 40 participants. Potential applicants have to submit an abstract and demonstrate a keen interest in lung science research as part of their future career in order to be considered for a bursary. Each bursary recipient has the opportunity to take part in the Mentorship programme.

Selected abstracts will be allocated to:

- Poster Sessions

- The Young Investigator Award Session

- Oral Presentations
