Four Short-Term Fellowships per year (two per round) are on offer jointly funded by the ERS and EMBO ("European Molecular Biology Organization" - www.embo.org).

This fellowship programme builds capacity and expertise in the area of respiratory medicine/science promoting research in the field of molecular biology with the aim to bring clinicians into basic science.

Who can apply?

Clinicians (MD), preferably but not limited to, working in the respiratory field and looking to do basic science in molecular biology. The project should be basic science in respiratory science/health in the field of molecular biology.

Further Information

ERS Fellowships are granted to perform research, to improve research skills, techniques and developments in the area of respiratory medicine/science. They are intended to support clinical research, translational research, basic science and advanced research.
