    • COURSE FORMAT

      This course is dedicated to develop skills and knowledge in the field of rigid bronchoscopy which is the basis of interventional therapeutic bronchoscopy. After a necessary reminder of the anatomy of the larynx, airways and mediastinum as well as different pathologies and clinical situations leading to the use of rigid bronchoscopy, the course will focus on stent loading and insertion and other methods used for tracheobronchial desobstructions. During the workshops participants will use animal models and mannequins to develop their practical skills. Participants will be tutored in groups of 3 to allow interactive learning.

      This course has been granted 15 CME credits by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME). The number of credits that you will receive corresponds to your attendance during the course. Please note that you need to sign the register of attendance each day to ensure that you receive the CME credits.

      CANCELLATION POLICY

      Upon receipt of a written cancellation, a refund of fees, minus €50 administrative fee, will be applied up to 6 weeks before the course. After this date no refund will be made for cancellations.

      If you require visa documents for your travel please ensure that these are organised in advance, the ERS is not responsible for obtaining or financing your visa.
