Practical information

AIMS OF THE COURSE

  • To understand the processes of diagnosis and management of the various pulmonary vascular conditions. 
  • To discuss diagnostic techniques and new treatment modalities, so that the physician will feel competent to manage their patients in association with their Pulmonary Hypertension Centre.

COURSE GOALS

  • Understand the diagnostic processes leading to a diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension/embolism to be able to initiate appropriate investigations
  • Understand the pathogenesis of the condition
  • Understand the basis behind modern treatment of pulmonary hypertension and pulmonary thromboembolism.

This event has been granted 15 European CME credits (ECMEC) by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME).

CANCELLATION POLICY
